It September second, time for Second on the Second over at Elizabeth's blog Bleubeard and Elizabeth. .
For my second on the second post I went back to September 2014. Here's my original post Paper Dolls.
As I was looking back at past posts I came across this one, and it really inspired me. I think its time for me to make some new paper dolls.
I was having fun with some of these Daniel Torrente images from Stampotique. I love how dressing them up makes them more my own images.
It also (in some cases) changes the images personality.

I also love playing crazy fashion designer with their outfits. :)
Making them is pretty easy and is a great way to use up some scraps. Plus have lots of fun too!
I'm really glad I found this post. We have a long weekend ahead here in the US, In fact I have today off too, I am really looking forward to some art time, seeing a friend who is up from North Carolina visiting several people, and I'm also hoping to squeeze in a day or 2 of outside fun. We might even get some much needed rain from the tropical storm that is moving up the coast. I actually hope we do at the end of the weekend so I can have a really low key and lazy day. Plus we are so dry we really could use the rain.
Thanks for stopping by!

I've seen these stamps before but wasn't really sure what I'd do with them...glad you shared these.
FYI-your link is broken on Elizabeth site...
What a groovy post! I think the link you used at 2nd on the second is wrong, it took me back to Elizabeth's again! Have a fun day, hugs, Valerie
I changed your link, Erika. You could have done it yourself, but since I did it, the trash can now resides at my site.
These are some really fun and funky art dolls. Your fashionista is showing!
Thanks for sharing these for your second look for September, especially since I'm still so new to your blog.
I also want to thank you for the comment you left. I remember that not long after (less than a year) I wrote that post, some woman was convicted for bullying a young girl on Facebook. The girl killed herself and it seems to have called attention to bullying on social media when the woman got sent to prison for murder. Thanks for reminding me of that, since I had forgotten about it.
These really are smile making stamps - and I love what you did with them Erika - really fabulous :)
Hope you have a lovely weekend.. Gill x
I like those stamps as well - but I don't own any of it - but got some prints years ago from a blogfriend! Stampitique stamps are mosty super in my mind! Great designers there!
Sorry to be late – we had so little time with a connection while we were away! I love Stampotique stamps so seeing how you gave them a makeover was great! I think I am going to need to play with mine soon! Hugs, Chrisx
