T Stands for Relaxing

Hi everyone.  Happy T Day to you all. If you don't know what T day is, it is when we share a drink and often food related post.
Thanks to Elizabeth our hostess. Stop by her blog and join us for a cup of cheer.
This week  T is all about relaxing.
Last Friday evening was warm but not hot and we were tired after work. So my husband started a fire in our fire pit and we spent some outside time.
We cooked some Polish sausage and some veggies over the fire. While it was cooking we enjoyed a cold margarita.
I put them in our insulated tumblers so the ice wouldn't melt and they would stay nice and cold. OK, hard to tell what was in the tumbler. I use my tumbler all the time, for ice tea, hot tea, and on occasion, a margarita.
It was nice to enjoy the evening and watch the light fading.
But at least no bears came out of the woods to join us for dinner.   :)
And on the back to school front:
My teacher work days and freshman orientation are over and today, classes start fresh for another school year on this T day. Year 35-holy cow.

Have a great T day my friends.
Thanks for visiting.

So cool...or hot...that you cooked over the bonfire! I understand the heading back to school thing. Today was my first back to school meeting. Since I'm a SpEd para we don't start back up for real until the kids are there.
Happy T day!

That looks like such a lovely spot to relax. Friday was perfect weather to cook out and enjoy the evening. With Pete by your side, you wouldn't have to worry about bears.

Will you be having half days at school this week because of the heat and humidity? Some schools here that have started will be having half days as the heat is predicted to be brutal. Stay cool.

I want your beautiful back yard, I want your fire pit, I want your drink tumbler. Gosh, I am greedy, aren't I? It's all lovely and makes me feel at home. Thanks for sharing this lovely weekend with us for T this Tuesday. 35 is a wonderful and magic number. Let's hope the kids don't disappoint.

What a delightful place to put your fire pit! Those trees are huge and look like they're giving your grouping a protective hug. I'm glad the bears gave you some peace. Happy T Tuesday

I feel for you being back to school, must be awful with that heat. This shall soon pass I hope. Mmm, a simple dinner that looked perfect. I like using my cast iron pizza pan for dinners on the grill, hope you get a cool drink later today, but no fire! Maybe a fan instead. xox
