A Spring Page Today

Happy almost weekend everyone.
I think I mentioned I was keeping a spring/summer journal. Here's one page of a 2 page spread from that book. I began by making a bunch at ATC's one day. All my ATC's had a spring theme. I didn't make them to trade but to use in my journal spread. I've been playing around with using lots of little items and turning them into a big page.
After I made my cards I sprayed the page with some green and light blue inks. I also added some bits from a Japanese book and some of this cool wide paper tape.
There's lots of words to live by here so I am going to link up to the Halle's fun challenge at Art Journal Journey
That's all for me today. Hope your day is going well or goes well if it hasn't started yet.

I wish our Spring would be as Spring-y as your beautiful page. I haven't been able to have breakfast in the sun room as it's been too cold in the morning. I'm glad we have seen a bit more of the sun like your sun and daisy ATC. The birds have been visiting the feeder, and I did see a butterfly the other day. Sadly, no bees. Enjoy your last day with the kids at school. Hope it's a half day for you. Supposed to be a decent weekend, too.

Back awhile ago I purged most of my ATCs. That's Jeanie for you. Purge something that absolutely no one can see any difference with! I like these!

That's a great use for ATC's. I haven't made any in years but have noticed a bit of a resurgence in them. Love the variety of greens...
Thanks for linking up with AJJ again!!

The ATCs are lovely, and make a great page. Wonderful background for them. (And wasn't today beautiful here in New England?!)

Oh such lovely ATCs! And all those positive quotes. Great!
I hope you have finished school now. I saw the seniors at the ice cream shop. Even if you haven't finished, the pressure is off (I hope).
Have a lovely weekend,
Lisca

How clever to assemble a bunch of spring and summer ATCs and use them in a single journal page. Very creative, great art, wonderful grids, and loads of fun, too. Thanks for sharing this beautiful journal page with us at Art Journal Journey using Halle's theme and lots of integrated ATCs.

A great page and I like the idea of your page using the ATCs like that. Although each one of those Arcs would make a lovely mini journal page by itself.
Have a great weekend. Avril xx

I really love this way of building a page with your ATCs... it's a wonderful way to display the ATCs, and it creates a really cohesive, detailed, interesting page in the journal. I promise I'm not biassed but I really love the one with the madness quote! So atmospheric and gentle.
