Hi everyone.
Today I have another page to share at Try It On Tuesday for our Christmas Sparkle challenge.
The children standing on the ornaments were inspired from some ornaments my family had when I was a child. Inside each ornament was a small little scene. I used to think there were tiny elves who lived in our Christmas tree, and these ornaments were where they hid out.
I changed it up a bit and used this tiny TH found relatives instead of elves, and I added the TH man with the tree because of course that's there the ornaments and elves would go.
I am also linking this page up to Tracey's The Meaning of challenge at Art Journal Journey.
I know people get busy at this time of year, even in a Covid-19 world, but I hope to see you at both challenges when you get some time to create.
Thanks for visiting my blog.

Super page, Erika. Love the words - they are meaningful in so many ways. Great Christmas sparkle elements and thanks for sharing your childhood memories. We think the most amazing things when we are small - wish we brought more of that magic with us into adulthood (maybe we do in our art - right?). Hugz
Gorgeous sparkle on your beautiful page, I love it! Just right for both challenges. Have a good and safe week, hugs, Valerie
Sweet story and I love the color of those ornaments
I loved that you used the relatives! And it's a bright, cheery page, very happy!
Beautiful!!! xx
A lovely page Erika, love the colours and those tiny children with the ornaments. They remind me if similar ones we had and I remember poking my finger in - it broke of course, strange how we remember those things.
Have a great week. Hugs Avril x
Wow, this page looks full of Christmas sparkle! Loving the colours and all that glitter 😁. Thanks for the inspiration and happy wishes! Hugs, Jo x
I was here yesterday and thought I left a comment, but obviously I didn't. How fun to bring back childhood memories of fairies living in the Christmas tree ornaments. It's a wonderful entry and is perfect for Tracey's theme at Art Journal Journey, too.
I love memories associated with childhood Christmases and love that they inspired you to this. Sweet!
Loving all the sparkle on your page surrounding your happy family, we all need to remember to sparkle and shine. I have a handful of ornaments from my childhood, I used to love how they reflected everything. How lovely to think as a child that elves lived within them, the beauty of innocence as a child always pulls on my heart strings. Beautifully executed Erika. Hugs Tracey xx
How lovely to see a sparkling page and I do like the story about the elves living in the baubles. A great idea to use the "Tim Holtz Dolls to represent your elfin thoughts.
A lovely page again.
Hugs, Neet xx
