Hi everyone. I am here today with the latest challenge over at the Try It On Tuesday blog.
For the next 2 weeks we are looking for art with some Christmas Sparkle.
I made a journal page with the 2 new dies I bought. After glueing down some pretty holly tissue paper, I added the arched window die cut. I wanted it to look like stained glass inside of the panel area, so I put a couple of drops of various colored glitter glues in each section and then swirled those glues around. I think it worked pretty well as you can see in the next photo.
I also picked up this deer die, another by Tim Holtz. I liked how these deer are fairly small, but definitely not tiny. I used the die twice with white paper and then colored in my deer family. To have them stand out against the tissue paper, I used a bit of white gesso on the background to give it a snowy feel.
Be sure to check out all the art by the design team. There's lots of great ideas and inspiration! Try It On Tuesday accepts all forms of art for our challenges.
This is our last challenge of 2020, and we'll be back in early January to start off a new year's worth of challenges.
For those of you who I only see at Try It On Tuesday , I am wishing you a very happy holiday season, no matter what holiday(s) you celebrate.
Thanks for visiting.
