A Pretty Scene and Troll #2

 Hi everyone.  Happy Wednesday.

I'm back today with this page for Tracey's My Favorite Color is October challenge at Art Journal Journey. I am also linking up to Creative Artiste Mixed Media. As long as you use several types of media the challenge is anything goes.

My inspiration for this page is this picture of this pretty autumn view. I partially framed it with some gold foil trim and added the gold foil sun. I placed the picture on a gelli printed page, and I picked this background out of my pile because of the blue in the print matched the blue of the sky.

The big leaf is a cardstock die cut that I added the veins  with a posca pen and stamped a couple of phrases. Once again, those stamps are some oldies that have been in my collection for a very long time. (I'm doing well using old stamps this year. ) 😃 Then I finished my page with this small wooden leaf and a few random leaf stamps in my background.

I hope you enjoy my page. I also hope you'll join us for Tracey's challenge at Art Journal Journey.

I promised you on Monday that I would share another troll. So here is troll number 2 from the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. To see it, we needed to take a trail into the woods, following the map to the troll footprints located where the statue was. It was a bit like a treasure hunt with these trolls being the treasure.  This is the troll of the flowers, and the youngest and smallest  of the 5 trolls at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.

I'll have troll #3 tomorrow. Have a great day!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog; it is always appreciated.

Looks like peak color on your page. Cute sculpture looks like he wants to play roll a ball. Better weather today.

Your autumn page is gorgeous, just like autumn should be. Here it's cold and wet and grey, but we have to take it as it comes! The baby troll is cute, and still very large. Great idea to have trolls in the woods. Have a great day, Erika, hugs, Valerie

I do like this page. Your colors are perfect!

The trolls were a fun idea. I'd love to have been a fly on the wall in the early planning stages.

Your journal page was marvelous. I love the German scrap you used to frame the focal image. Went well with the sun, too. Love how you embellished with the beautiful leaves. Your use of the old stamps is wonderful, dear. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey using Tracey's theme, too.

Lilja reminds me of a teddy bear! Great photos.

Here it´s still green.
Love your page, if Autumn always makes me sad.

Cute, the troll sits like my lille Brother.
Mum´d sat him under a tree, he could not crawl or sit safely yet. I was to supervise and went onto our swing in the garden where I could see him. He started crying like crazy. Mum placed him - by accident - on an ant´s nest!
He has two kids now, all good. (I didn´t react at once, he cried often for no reason).

Thank you for the laugh!
Greetings to the troll!

Lovely picture for today's challenge at AJJ - what a lovely gelli print you had to place it on and I do like the gold additions. So very October.

Pretty as a picture they say and that Autumnal scene framed with the gold certainly is. Great use of the gelli print and wooden leaf embellishment and an extra well done using old stamps. I always remember the ones I could use but finding them is another tale. Thank you for once again joining me @ AJJ and also sharing @ Creative Artiste. Beautiful work.
Creative Hugs Tracey xx
P.S I bet that Troll gives the biggest of hugs :))
