Hi everyone. Happy Friday to you.
Today I have a journal page that I am linking up to 3 challenges. First of all, there is a face, and it is Friday, so I am linking up to Nicole's Friday Face Off.
Secondly, my page has to do with food, so I am linking up to Bleubeard's and Elizabeth's challenge at Art Journal Journey.
And lastly, since it is Friday, I am linking up to Gillena's Friday Lunch Break.
I have a bunch of pages that have only finished backgrounds that I am trying to make use of, and this page uses one of them. It was such a happy colored one, that I decided to go with this summery page.
The background is made with spray inks after it was stenciled with soft molding paste. I also stamped some little stars. I drew and colored the parts of the ice cream cone, and after fussy cutting them, I added them to my page. I also added some silver ball glitter to the ice cream to mimic sprinkles/jimmies that it was rolled in.
The girl is a Janet Klein stamped image that I colored and altered a bit. Finally I doodled the border around my page, and I added some letter stickers to finish off my page.
I am also sharing a tag for Wendy's challenge at Tag Tuesday. This time the theme is add a quote or saying. And on my tag there are more faces for Friday Face Off.
The blue background is actually the cardboard from inside a small craft supply package. I added some blue printed tissue scraps to it, as well as some circle stickers I recycled from another project. Then I sprayed the tag with some white paint. Once dry, I stitched some of the edges, added the TH ice skating couple, and part of a stamped quote.
That's all for me today, and I hope everyone has a nice start to your weekend.

Good morning Erika, Loving your art today
Hugs Kathy
Aha, I see you are using a Janet Klein type figure with a giant ice cream cone and such a lovely background. I love the border you have printed around the sides. I am just thinking on how long it will take her to eat all that delicious looking icecream. I do hope she is not poorly with it all.
Hugs, Neet xx
Yum Yum indeed x
So pretty.

Some nice ones. Have a good weekend Erika
Much💛love
The blue page feels like the weather outside my front door today which makes it too cold for ice cream. Stay warm!
Hi Erika! Love your beautiful, pink page - really yummy. The blue tag is gorgeous, too, thanks so much for linking to TT. Hugs, Valerie
Too cold for ice cream.
Ingo had a day off, came into my "office", aka our living room and pointed out... it´s snowing. Eeeeeek!!!
But your art is beautiful none-the-less!
Oh, spring I´m looking forward to! Hugs
I left this long message and while I was writing the last sentence, something happened and it disappeared. Some keystroke combination that went bad on my part, I'm sure. I remember writing that it was Friday and I was here on Friday. Does this mean I'm catching up?
Your background reminds me of ice cream, so I can see why you would choose this background. I love the texture you got and that ice cream cone is just my size (grin). I really like the border, too. Thanks for this great entry at Art Journal Journey using Bleubeard's and my theme.
That tag is beautiful. Looks like a TH doll I haven't seen before.
