Here's a few pages from my art journal.
This top page is an ode to spring. Down where the words spring fling are, was suppose to be something else, but it was a horrible mess so I painted over it and added the doodled and cut out letters and some rain stamped images.
Am really happy with that new look.
Edge flowers are from The Green House Project from Technique Tuesday. Butterflies are from Chocolate Baroque.
This page I like the background maybe more than the theme, but I was working on it and my hubby totally annoyed me so I just was spontaneous and went for it. Marriage, even after 25 years, still needs work. Even a good relationship like we have. I like this page because of its real emotion.
This bottom page needs something. Maybe a splash of more color.Maybe its just kind of dark and bland in the color department. Maybe I will play with it some more, if the mood hits me to go back to it. Its not very bright- more my taste, but maybe I should just leave it because it says something about where I have been lately. Down in the late winter dumps and desperately wanting some spring relief.
Posted to Art Journal Everyday and Paint Party Friday.
Not too much else to say today. But you're here to look at my journal pages.
Hope you enjoyed your look.

Beautiful Pages Erika xx
You are great at layering! Looks like you have some killer stencils, too. Wonderful work!
Nice work on the textured layers, colours and composition, turned out beautiful.
Funny about the hubby, my husband and I have been together for 38 years and we still can't work together in the kitchen so when he is at home he cooks and i paint.
Annabelle : )
There is some bright color there too - maybe for the hope of the new season right around the corner? Marriages are always a work in progress - I have been married for 31 years and we are always working on communicating.
The top page is my favorite - and I love the vibrant color! Happy PPF!
