Summer Joys

Hi everybody. Today I have a piece of art  for several challenges. First of all I want to join in to Chris' challenge at Art Journal Journey where we are making Art for Art's Sake.

Then I want to join in over at Try It On Tuesday where the latest challenge is add a quote.
And finally I am joining in at Moo Mania where the latest challenge is butterflies.
These warm summer days have me slowing down and enjoying nature's bounties.
Before the storms yesterday I did a little gardening in the morning. I came in drenched with sweat, but then it got very dark and it rained all afternoon. That was good since it's been so dry lately.  I am sure all the plants in my garden are very happy now.
I'll share a few roses with you.

Hope it's a great day for you.

Your roses are so wonderful and so is your lovely page with this amazing quote Erika! Thank you for joining Art Journal Journy , Try It On Tuesday and Moo Mania & More with this beautiful page! I am impressed with the amazing artsy Mixed Media flowers you created here!

I watched the bicycle film as well now, thank you for the advice! Really super!
Have a great day. Here it is so lovely not to hot and not too fresh.. wonderful summer. But we are supposed to get the terrible heatwave GB and Germany suffers just now in August then. I don't hope so!
Enjoy your wonderful garden and the naps with the lovely dogs!
Everthing is all right here at my end of the world!

I am in love with those flowers. I love how you pieced the stems and leaves together using different papers. That was the highlight for me, although there were definitely other things to appreciate, including the quote, the bird, and the butterfly. I am so grateful, too, that you chose to share this with us at Art Journal Journey.

Fabulous journal page - the background has a lovely texture.
Your roses are all gorgeous - hope they smell as good as they look :)
We still haven't had any rain here for several weeks and the heat continues to be unbearable.

That is a WAY HAPPY page! I like it lots!

And your roses are stunning. I came home from the lake to find mine had more or less perished, at least, given up the ghost for awhile in the heat. It wasn't even benign neglect...
