August 2

Happy Friday. Happy August second.
And that means it is time for Second on the Second where we take a second view of an old blog post.
Thanks to Bleubeard and Elizabeth for hosting.

I am going back to a post from August of 2014 and sharing some different beach art I created.

Here's the original post: Wow, Almost Back to Work

I think I need to play around with some more textured art again. I made them on canvas panels. I rather like these.
And it's a great day here in New Hampshire. I think it might even be a boating afternoon since my husband has shorter days on Fridays. They say the there's a few tall ships in Portsmouth Harbor this weekend.
Hope you have a great start to your weekend.
And as always, thanks for visiting.

These are beautiful!i just tossed a small canvas panel because I didn’t like the painting I had done. I should have kept it and done
something like yours. Next time I will. I’m envious of your weather. Down here in NJ it’s still hazy hot and humid, I’ve always wanted to move to New England. Enjoy!

I just love all the things on your beach pages. I spent every morning this past week at a little beach doing some meditation. Your pages make me wish I was back there. Watching the water is so soothing and watching the critters in the water is fascinating. Hope you got to enjoy the afternoon on the water.

I'm late visiting because my internet has been offline since last night. I also have a lot of catching up to do, since I see I've missed a couple of posts.

This is a beautiful second look, which of course is a first look for me. I can almost feel the texture. I want to run my hand over that canvas. Thanks for sharing it with us as your second look on the 2nd.

Sounds like you will have a great weekend. I hope you take photos of the tall ships. I saw them in New York Harbor and in Boston Harbor. It's always a joy to see them, especially when there are many of them.
