Have Fun with Stencils

Hi everyone.
We have a new challenge beginning today at Try It On Tuesday For the next 2 weeks we think you should Have Fun With Stencils
When I started this page I wasn't thinking about anything particular except for stenciling the little green squares/grid on the right. I sprayed a slightly different green on the left and it created some nice contrast  between the 2 greens. Then I added the pink flowers. Now I was thinking about spring.
And when I found this lady in my package of TH found relatives, I got thinking about days gone by and where might be a good place to travel in such a fancy outfit.  So now my brain thought Paris in the 1950's. And so voila, here is my page.

I am also linking up to Valerie's geometric shape challenge at  Art Journal Journey.
Check out all the wonderful stenciled art made by the rest of the Try It On Tuesday design team. And I can't wait to see your stenciled creations.
Thanks for visiting my blog

Beautiful work. Just what is it all about Paris? I was there at age 14, maybe I was too young to get it...

Great shades of green, lovely squares, fun giant flowers, and super cool found relative from the 50s. I think she would have fit in Paris for sure. Love how this all came together. Lovely! Hugz

Oh dear, what have you done to me? I cannot stop singing the few lines I know of the song "April in Paris" It is a lovely song though so not to worry - and you have made an equally lovely page. I do like the contrast of those bright pink flowers against the green background and the stencilling is just perfect as is the TH figure you chose.
A really lovely page
Hugs, Neet xx

Lots of colourful stencil fun here, and I can see why those gigantic flowers have put a giant smile on the Paper Doll's face!
