Hi everyone. Happy Friday. Happy last day of January to you also. I hate to rush time, but this month has mostly been about hibernating because it's not only been quite cold but quite windy too. I can't say I am too upset to have January wrap up with the hope that winter will turn a bit milder in February.
Today I have some random January photos to share. There's a few faces for Nicole's Friday Face Off, and I'll also be linking to Gillena's Friday Lunch Break.
The other morning the huge flock of wild turkeys was back eating up all the loose birdseed.
And if the turkeys didn't eat the birdseed, then this guy then did. He's the only one who knows enough to jump from the deck into this feeder. But look at how dirty he's made it.
I received a Trader Jo's white chocolate bear to melt into some hot cocoa for Christmas, which I enjoyed one cold afternoon.
And here's a few more photos from my trip a few weeks ago to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
And I'll finish with a few more Georgia O'Keeffe photos. For those of you who missed my commentary on the exhibit, it was quite crowded and hard to get straight on photos.
Have a great weekend and start to the new month.

It’s great that you have a wide variety of bird feeders, and I am sure the Wild Turkeys and the squirrels are deeply appreciative! All the best - David
Wow to the feathery visitors and gah, Peanut´s cousin - still cute! The poor bear, too cute to drown!
That tree is really beautiful!
To warmer temps to you- here often the real cold comes February > March - I hope not...
Enjoy your start to the weekend, hugs
hose wild turkeys seem to be enjoying the birdseed buffet in your yard. And that squirrel—always the clever ones finding a way into the feeder!
A warm cup of hot cocoa with a white chocolate bear sounds delightful on a chilly afternoon. I might have to try that with my favorite peppermint tea. Thanks for sharing these moments. Wishing you a milder February ahead.
...your wild turkeys are a fabulous clean up crew!
The Chihuly piece anthe Georgia O'Keeffe painting are worth the trip!!!
Your chocolate bear is really cute! Did it fully melt in? I love seeing your museum photos. What a great exhibit. Happy weekend to you!
thanks!
That chocolate bear is pretty awesome. Need to find some for my husband :-)
Your melting chocolate is interesting. Luv the wild turkeys. Smart, they gathered after Thanksgiving
Much♡love
This month has been a quite different than a normal snowy winter month here in Finland.

Thank you for the interesting photos you are sharing ๐
Happy weekend ๐ป๐น๐
The turkeys are really impressive. We occasionally see one or two, but not that many. I too hope that February will be mild, though our January hasn’t been that bad.

February seems long because of winter. I love the snow but, by the end of Feb. I want spring. Love these photos from the turkeys to that other turkey, Mr. Squirrel. Love that museum and wish I could go back.
Lovely photos Erika.
That's quite a number of wild turkeys! They sometimes come into my front yard - I'm not a fan since they can leave quite a mess and aren't shy to tear out plants. Ilike your variety of bird feeders, it's nice to attract different birds. I do the same here and I enjoy watching the little guys. I hope February won't be quite as cold for you. Here, February usually brings a round of freezing weather and frost, but since January has been pretty cold (for this area) I hope we might be done and get more rain instead. Have a lovely weekend, Erika, and stay warm. Hugs - Carola
I miss seeing all our wild turkeys when we lived in the woods-so fun to watch especially when they bring their youngsters in the spring. enjoyed the photos Happy weekend hugs Kathy
That is a lot of wild turkeys!
The squirrel looks quite cute sitting there :)
Great photographs from the museum.
Enjoy your weekend, and happy February too!
All the best Jan
I been thinking of hot chocolate today.
I would be thrilled to look out the window and see wild turkeys ~ what fun! Georgia O'Keeffe's art is fascinating. I hope your temperatures warm up in February, Erika.
First off I love wild turkeys and wish they came into my yard. They are very lucky. You have some amazing photos this week. Thank you for sharing them with FFO.
