Fall Delicious

Hi everyone. It is day 7 of Art Every Day Month and yesterday I finished a page for Rike's Fruit and Veggie challenge at Art Journal Journey.

I made this page first by spraying my page with some liquid ink. Then I did a bit of stamping on the right side and a bit of stenciling on the left. I made the fruits (well technically they are but we all call them veggies)  by first dropping some alcohol inks onto some glossy paper, and then stamping with black Staz On ink.  The images are all on one stamp. Then I cut each image out and added them to the page. I used some of the scraps and a pole puncher to make the dots. And finally I used a blank tag on my table to stamp the quote which says 'The Absolute Deliciousness of Fall'.
Hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for stopping by!

A delightful page, fitting to the deliciousness of autumn. I'm looking forward to pumpkin fritters for dinner today. Have a great one, hugs, Valerie

Fun page. The absolute deliciousness of Fall is pumpkin bread with chocolate chips, and acorn squash with butter and brown sugar, and... I better stop before I make myself too hungry. And I just finished breakfast, too!. I hope the snow bypasses your area. We're supposed to get rain with maybe a couple of flurries

Wonderful warm autumn colors and the nuts falling from heaven, no, from the trees- are gorgeous! It must have been very relaxing cutting out all the fruits :) Great work! I like the background too!
The quote is perfect!
Thank you for another beautiful entry for my theme at AJJ!

This has such a lovely feel to it, Erika. The liquid spray ink really gives a wonderful texture in the background.

Another great page, Erika. You used some very interesting techniques. I never thought of stamping over alcohol inks. It looks very cool. I love the quote. Eileen xx

I like the background and the way you arranged the elements against it. It flows :) And, of course I heartily agree with the sentiment. Delicious fall flavors!

The first thing that came to me is that song it's raining men, to it's raining veggies. Love it.

Hi Erika, isn´t it strange how many ways there are to combine technikes of art. (not sure I spelled it right) This is gorgeous. :)

Lovely variety of yummee veg/fruit...we do tend to confuse them both but I still prefer to call lots of fruit veggies... Nice to see red for a change - something I rarely use in my journals. The tag looks great. Don't you just love it when you use something already out on your desk?
Wonderful, Erika.

Lovely artwork. I like the colors.

Bitterly cold temperatures coming in over the next week. :-( And possible snow on Tuesday? Ugh. (The snow for CT forecast for today changed to an all rain forecast. It got delayed, and is supposed to start tonight.) Tomorrow's forecast: Mostly sunny, with a high near 39. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Brrrr!!!
