Monday Art

Happy new week everyone. Today I have a short post with some art for the Art Every Day Month challenge.
Here's a book page which I created first with paint, and then by cutting paper to create this summery scene.
It's frosty here this morning so this view seems out of season. But I hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

LOVE your clouds, Erika - great idea :-)
Always good to see something that's also part of someone's life. A lovely summer memory. Brilliantly colourful sails and a wonderfully deep blue sea. Summer already feels like such a long time ago.
Happy Monday!

As soon as this popped up on my screen I said, out loud, "Oh! Wow!" (And I just love it!) Boats and blue -- my kind of thing!

Good morning Erika. I truly love this piece. The way your created movement is just brilliant. Using mostly blues but able to separate them to show distinction.. Well done indeed.

We're beginning to get some chillier weather, so your reminder of hot summer days is welcome :)

It is a beautiful summer scene , looking warm and sunny, the opposite of here with the cold and rain. A super idea to use print paper for the clouds

This is MY kind of art, Erika. I love that you used book pages and bits of colored images for the boats. This is quite original and I love it.

I love your gifts from Japan, the box is beautiful, our son has a Boss who is Japanese and brings him those sweets that taste of green tea!
I love being by the sea, I think it’s because I was brought up in the Midlands and always had more than two hours drive to the nearest coast.
Have a great week, Jan x
