Traditional Red and Green

Hello everyone. Here it is November 10 already.

Today starts a new challenge at Try It on Tuesday. This time of theme is Traditional Christmas Colors

Here's my page where I went with red and green. I don't think I should have added the white snow on the trees as it looks messy and really threw the color off when I went to brighten my photo. But it is what it is!

I thought plaids and stripes were also very traditional for the Christmas.  I also added some cloth trim and put a few little stamped and fussy cut birds on the reindeers antlers.

Be sure to stop by the Try It On Tuesday website to check out the art  the design team for some great traditional color holiday ideas.
All kinds of art is welcome Just be sure you use traditional holiday colors for this challenge.
I hope you decide to join us.

I am also linking my page up to Art Journal Journey where this month Wendy is our host. Her challenge is birds.
And it is day 10 at Leah's Art Everyday Month. I am also linking up at that challenge too.

Thanks for visiting.

I think the snow makes your page look very festive. Even if we haven’t celebrated Thanksgiving, yet 🦃

Even though I'm not ready to think Christmas, I do like both of these, especially the vintage deer!

Yes, I'm late. What can I say? I keep getting caught in that robot thing and, like you, I have three blog hops I'm playing in (four if you count Monday Murals). My big problem was I actually put on mask and disposable gloves and went grocery shopping yesterday. I had planned to be out by 10 a.m., but it took me almost two hours because it appears the store I visited, which I haven't for over seven months, has moved many of the things I always purchased in the past. I just wanted to explain, although you won't read that on any other blog.

What really got me were the two deer with birds settling on their horns. That was SO clever. Not just impressive for TioT, but also a great entry for Wendy's theme at Art Journal Journey, too.

A lovely festive page and I like the added snow to the trees, it makes it look like a wintery woodland. Those little deer are cute and I love the little trim.
Have a great week, Avril xx
