Hi everyone. Hope your week is going well.
One thing I am going to share today is a tag for Sandie's Sport challenge at Tag Tuesday.
I have a couple of sets of sport stamps. I've had them for a long time, and it was fun to take them out and play with them again. I did have to find them first, because I put them in one of my stamp bins, but since it had been so long since I had them out, I couldn't remember which one they were in.
I went with a baseball theme for this tag, since it is baseball season here in the US and Canada. And it is baseball season elsewhere in the world where it is played also. I know it is huge in Japan and parts of the Caribbean. Here in New England, it is the sport that always means the start of spring and hopefully nice weather, even if early in the season it isn't always so spring like for many northern teams.
I inked my background and then stamped the lucky pennant in red. The bats, the ball and the player are stamped and fussy cut. Then I stamped on the quote and the #1 fan image. The go team phrase is stamped on acetate and colored with a red paint pen. Then I attached it. Finally I added some blue metallic paper stars to finish my tag.
Earlier this week I also went back to visit Bedrock Gardens. I took you there last fall a couple of times when I first discovered it. This season my walking friend and I decided to get season passes so we could walk there instead of the beach. They are a non-profit place, so by joining (which was reasonable at $35 compared to a $15 parking fee at the beach each time during the summer season), we are helping them continue also.
I am curious to see how the gardens change over the weeks from now until early October when they close.
Here's a few of photos. I'll show you more this weekend.
I was really curious about the shade area since I have a small strip of shaded land I am trying to turn into a garden myself.
This photo below is really fascinating to me. These are some Japanese maple leaves starting to open up.
I love their spindly shape.
As I bending down to take a photo, I noticed this guy hiding behind some plants He was quite a surprise.
Hope you enjoyed these few views.

Your baseball page is perfect timing. Yesterday, the Woo Sox had their very first game in their new stadium. Bedrock Gardens reminds me of Tower Hill. The trillium are beautiful. Enjoy today!
Good morning, I really all of this pretty views look forward to see them during the season changes. I have a blog friend that years ago set up a moon garden-she chose all white blooms that would really show up during a full moon
Liked your sports tag too Hugs Kathy
Beautiful gardens, and so worth supporting!
My husband is a Cardinals fan, so I'm in tune with baseball season :) Your tag captures that spirit.
The garden looks like a lovely place for an outing, and that season pass is a steal. The plants are so pretty, and the garden ornaments add interesting touches.
I slipped right past you for a walk today. hope all goes well and that you are fine. your blog is as always nice with beautiful photos and creative things
Hi Erika, love your tag, you used some great stamps. Thanks for joining us again at Tag Tuesday, much appreciated. The garden you visited is beautiful, I hope you found some good ideas for your shade garden. Have a wonderful day, hugs, Valerie
Your baseball tag looks great.
Beautiful photographs from Bedrock Gardens.
All the best Jan
Baseball is so not common here.
Fun tag, though! :-)
Oh, that lake-area is beautiful, I want to take my kindle and read in peace on that bench!
And the flowers... oh, the sneaky guy. Cute. Thank you, and have a nice day.
You have some fab stamps, just like me,lol.
A super Tag, loving the red, so effective.
Thank you so much for playing along with us at Tag Tuesday x
A fabulous tag and beautiful photos Erika!

Fabulous tag, love those pennants in the background! The gardens look lovely, I love to see the changes in the places we visit! Hugs, Chrisxx
Perfect timing here, too. They just christened our new baseball stadium last night. We lost, but I'm not much of a baseball fan, except when I lived in KC and my friend had great season tickets down near the field. LOVE your tag, though. Glad you found the stamps.
How nice that you got those season tickets. I hoe you show that first shot again every time you go back, so we can see how things change over time and seasons.
LOVE your art piece! I've been watching a rerun of the Ken Burns "Baseball" series. I love the episodes till they get to about the 70s or 80s -- the vintage stuff. It's a wonderful series if you haven't seen it.
Trillium is one of my favorite flowers -- these are beautiful, all of them!
At the risk of sounding a bit "Hrmph" this tag is striking. Love how you laid the pennants and then the bats which contrast so much to the pennants. The red looks good against the pale blue and white background.
Lovely photos - will be interesting to do comparisons over time.
Hugs, Neet xx
Wow I really do love your tag Erika! As usual I am in awe of your beautiful photographs!! Thanks for joining us over at Tag Tuesday.
