Squeezing in Another Sports Tag

Hi everyone.

We're having beautiful spring weather this weekend, and lots of outside work is getting done.  The list of  things to do at this time of year always seems really long (and got longer with me deciding to put in a bee hive).  I really enjoy it though, especially anything I can dig in the dirt to do. If only the days were longer so there would be more time for art too. Smile. Soon I should have more art time as projects are getting checked off the list, and I am looking forward to that also.

I thought I would squeeze in one more sport tag for Sandie's Sport challenge at Tag Tuesday since it is always worth making 2 when you pull out the supplies.

The baseball tag I shared the other day came out better, only because when I went rub on a bit of brown to this tag, it mushed some of the words (that say Good Ol' Sport) and the images in the center of the tag. Oh well. I stamped the lady  on  some white paper and cut around her as she was too difficult to fussy cut, and I drew in some tennis balls.

That's my tag.

I also thought I would share the project we just about finished yesterday.

Here's my  bee hive and the world's most structurally ( and over killed)  stable base and area around it. That's what happens when your husband is an engineer. His work looks great, and it he had a lot of fun designing and making it. No putting the hive on some pallets or on the ground for him. Smile.

It was good to get him involved in the project, though he says he doesn't want to be around the bees at all.  That might change when the bees actually arrive.
All I have left to do is get and put up an electric fence around it to keep the bears out. I'm still trying to figure out what will be best and cost the least to do that.

The bees will be arriving in the last week of May.  We'll be buzzing around here soon. (And hopefully , and maybe even the husband,  won't have too many welts from too many stings either.)

Speaking of animals, I had a sighting of a cryptozoological creature on my walk the other day.

Sasquatch, otherwise known as Big Foot, or in this case the Mini Foot, has come out of the woods of New Hampshire. Hee-hee.

Hope you're having a nice weekend also.

Love the tag. Reminds me of my younger days when I played tennis. The beehive looks great. How exciting the bees will be arriving soon. So cool that you caught MiniFoot. I wonder if he has a love of honey. Enjoy the day and the week!

The only tennis I've ever followed was the Bobby Riggs/Billie Jean King match way back in 1973 lol

Your bee hive is lovely, and I think the colors you chose are perfect! I've never seen a cryptid in person, but I'm a believer ;) coz what fun is it to doubt them...

HI Erika, love your Bee-hive hope those bees behave and don't sting! Love the tennis tag and I don't think I'd be venturing down the woods with 'creatures' like that around. HaHa!
Hope you're having a good weekend.

I've been enjoying seeing your art pieces Erika, but the bee hive sure is the star for an actual build. You gave created a very desirable residence for your bees when they arrive. I hope any local animals don't raid your honey when the bees start production.
Stay safe.

Wish I could do this sport, I loved it (broken arm won´t allow this anymore). Love your bee hive, your Hubby did a great job, too :-)
Oh, I once got stung by a bee (it was my fault), uh. That hurt!
Creepy creature you caught there, really looks like Big Foot!

Actually, I like that tag because it shows movement. Good choice, dear.

Wow, your beehive is all ready for the bees. I think that's a perfect base, but I'm also an engineer. So glad you shared it and Big Foot, too.

Anyone for tennis? Nice sporty tag Erika, I love the tennis lady. I also love your bee hive and I'm quite envious. I wanted to have bees but there was a two year waiting list and lots of complications so I gave up. Elle xx
