Hello there. This morning I have the pleasure of introducing our latest challenge at Try It On Tuesday.
This time we're celebrating the on-coming season, or maybe the season where you live.
The challenge is
Cold, Cold, Cold.
I started my page with some Gelli printed circles on a sheet of water color paper. The circles were blue and green, but then I sprayed the page with dark and light blue inks. When they dried I sprayed some silver ink and let it drip a bit.
When that dired I added some die cut snowflakes, (as well as a bit more spray). Then I added the TH found relatives, some silver leaf pieces as well as some white flowers. And I added these little plastic silver snowflakes to finish off the flowers.
Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team created too. There is some beautiful inspiration pieces.
And I linking up this art to day 12 of Leah's Art Every Day Month also.
And since it's been busy last couple of days, I am also including my T post here.
Stop by Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to share your drink related photos and see what the T Gang has been up to.
This week for T I am going to share a pint with you. And maybe you'd like an onion ring also.
Last Saturday my husband and I went to our first hockey game of the season. And before the game, we needed a little snack.
We like to follow our college team; it's a fun winter pastime for us. Saturday night the team played down in Lowell, Massachusetts, which isn't too big of a road trip for us. Unfortunately we didn't win, but it was still an enjoyable night out.
Hope you have a great T day!
And thanks so much for stopping by my blog.

Wonderful page, so pretty and really wintry, love it. It's cold and very wet here, yuck! Those onion rings look very tempting! Enjoy your pint, happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
Your artwork is perfect for the theme. It's lovely despite looking cold. Those onion rings look delicious. I hope you don't get any snow today. Happy T-Day!
I love blue but it IS a cold colour, as shown to perfection here, Erika. Love the contrast of the snowflakes, the silver leaves and white flowers and the drips, which look like stars...a swirling mass of cold winter sky! Beautifully created.

Good morning, Your page definately reflects cold-very pretty too.
My husband would love those onion rings with you. I have really gotten into watching hockey these past couple years-now that I have the sports package with fox and nbcsn I have been following the St Louis Blues-love the constant action-very exciting. the game would be more exciting in person I think.
Happy T stay warm Kathy
Such a beautiful page! The snowflakes with the background that you created look so magical - stunning 😁. Me and hubby would love to join you for a beer and to watch the ice hockey, I'm loving the glass too! Wishing you a very happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x
While I hate the thought of snow, your page is very pretty. I think it would make a lovely Christmas card, too. Glad you enjoyed your Saturday night out if if your team didn't win. Better luck next week. Have a Happy T Day and stay warm.
Fabulous looking snowy journal page Erika!! I love it even though I'm not actually looking forward to cold and snow... of which is on its way to use later today:( Snacks and sports just go together don't they... happy T day!
You met that challenge! It is a VERY cold feeling looking at that piece (and it would be a great holiday card!)
The game looks fun!
Gorgeous page Erika! It does make me feel a tad chilly! :-) xx
That's a lovely entry for TioT. I have to admit it made me feel even colder than I already AM!!! I like the background and I really like the snowflakes you chose.
You and hockey are as incredible (and predictable) as me and basketball. We LOVE our chosen sports, don't we? Seems your team loses a lot. Too bad there weren't more spectators. I've been told the crowd is the 6th man in basketball. At least YOU had fun and got out of the house, too.
I'll have a Samuel Adams, but make mine stout, please. Sam Adams makes a great stout!
Thanks for sharing your art, your hockey game, your onion rings (didn't get any, but I tried), and your beer with us for T this Tuesday, dear Erika.
Gorgeous background on this very cool - or should I say cold - page, Erika. Hockey season already?!
Happy T-day! Eileen xx
Those look like delicious onion rings. I like them better than fries. Your snowy blue page makes me shiver, as it's gotten colder than usual here and I'm feeling a connection with your art :) Happy T Tuesday.
Oooh! From one cold scene to another! I love your journal page! Happy T day! Just off to catch up then do my T post!! Chrisxx
An awesome page Erika, you have created a really frosty winters evening in the background of the page. The added sentiments are lovely as well.
I would pass on the pint, but those onion rings looked very tempting, it looks like you had a good evening out.
Happy T day wishes.
Yvonne xx
Thanks for your earlier visit, I managed to get past my iPad blocking me from replying!
We started going to ice hockey when our boys were young, they all enjoyed it but I could never understand the rules, a little like American football, our eldest loves it and has followed the Washington Redskins since he was young.
Your food and drinks looks delicious, I sometimes enjoy a cold beer on a hot evening.
Happy T day, Jan x
A fabulous page Erika, love the frosty night sky background, makes me feel cold just looking at it. The silver leaves and white flowers are a lovely contrast.
Your Saturday night sounds fun, shame your team lost.
Have a great day. Avril xx
A wonderful cold page Erika and I would really love to come to a hockey play with you once!! And the onion rings would be good for me .. at least they are vegan ...lol!
Happy belated T-Day!

I'll miss out on the onion rings, thanks all the same, but a sip of the beer won't go amiss. It's nice to hear how our friends over the seas spend their weekends - it's about taking part not winning isn't it.
Your journal page - it is absolutely beautiful. So cold! You really have captured the season and the theme with those colours. Yours are the perfect blues and greens that go together and the addition of the silver drips enhances the overall look.
I love when someone adds something to a page and then something over the top - great results and this time you have reached perfection.
Hugs, Neet xx
Yes, winter has started in earnest. I like the TH relatives in their magnificent winter coats.
A pint of beer and some onion rings sound really good. You have made me peckish now.
I know you like your hockey and I am glad you have been to see the first match of the season. A pity your team didn't win.
Sorry for being so late again. I'm never home on Tuesday and Wednesday is a very busy day, so usually I don't get to comment until Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.
Happy belated T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
