Hi everyone. Happy Saturday.
I recently took a second trip to Bedrock Gardens, and I thought since it's the weekend, wrapping up a week of posts with a few garden photos might be just the thing.
Enjoy.
One of the original owners of the gardens is a sculptress, and if you look carefully in the photo above you can see 2 birds she created using bits and pieces of recycled metal. Her art is nothing like these flamingos below, but I do like them also.
And this frog was sunning himself, waiting for me to take his photo. I actually didn't even see him as the green blob of slime originally caught my eye.
If you can't tell in these next 2 photos.
And this monarch was not really willing to be the star of a photo, but I did managed to capture one decent shot.
And here is one example of one of the original owners artwork. This piece is very different from much of what is scattered through the gardens, but she does love to recycle old rusty items.
For the sake of brevity and the fact that it is the weekend, (and a cold one here) more photos to come some other day.
Enjoy your weekend.

Hello Erika: Frogs are often very difficult to see, and I am constantly amazed when I disturb a frog and it leaps into the water, I see exactly where it goes, yet I am unable to find it again. Sometimes I wish I could be so invisible! A cool weekend sounds good to me when I notice some of the heat occurring all over the continent. Right now, as I look out the window I have the sheer delight of Blue Jays feeding young in my backyard. What a great way to start the day! Hugs from Ontario - David
Lovely photos. The frog needs a crown. Enjoy today. Don't forget your mittens if you go outside 😺
Such beauty in nature. Thank you for sharing in your beautiful snaps.
I would love to take a walk there every single day! Really beautiful and good job with frog shots, Erika.
Such beautiful gardens! I didn't see the frog either ...lol 😉. The flowers and views are stunning! Enjoy your weekend too! Hugs Jo x
Now you have been thinking that we also need another visit to Bedrock Gardens, Erika, but that may not be for awhile. Fall months might be a nice time to see the color changes as our previous visit was in late spring-early summer a year ago. The sculptures are whimsical and fun. Frog pics also appreciated too.
What a wonderful garden for an outing. All the sculpture adds interest, and it looks like they've also planted with the environment in mind. I haven't seen a monarch in ages! Lucky you!
What a beautiful place and wonderful nature photography ~ Xo

Thank you for sharing these lovely photographs, that monarch is beautiful.
Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend.
All the best Jan
What a lovely outing and a nice assortment of pictures! I love the one of the frog.
This is just a gorgeous place. Thank you for sharing it.
So beautiful there.
That was a nice walk, thank you! I love frogs, but to be honest... I only saw one for real once - isn´t that sad?! And I had no cam with me. It was back in the day where you still had film... when cams where big.
Here btw it was so hot yesterday I got tired. It went too quickly from cold to very hot.
Or... I am getting old, LOL...
The gardens look really beautiful. Early summer is such a great time for green, as well as for flowers.

Such beautiful photos Erika! Cute frog!
wish I could go there with you, take a long walk and breathe...
Love those flamingo sculptures and of course the flowers are always beautiful. This place is a treasure.
What a lovely day you had. I love all the flowers plus the statues etc.. on the grounds. The frog is great and so is the one with the butterfly. What a great way to spend the day
All the sculptures are divine, including the flamingos. But that last one really made me smile. I would LOVE to make something like that for my garden.
You got some great photos. Love the different flower close-ups you got.
These are all beautiful, I love the photos of the flower and the butterfly.💙
