Spring Has Officially Arrived

Hi everyone. I am writing this just about an hour after  spring officially arrived. It was a nice day here but we did have a bit lower temperatures than if you went inland because of ocean cooling. But no complaints as it was still a very nice day.
Today I have a journal page with a spring theme.
Something I am ready to do, pull out my spring and summer clothes! Still a bit cool here for some of these summer clothes but that doesn't mean I can't get prepared.
This page began with me using up some extra paint.  I thought the green and yellow reminded me of sun and grass. Then I doodled the clothes and painted them.  A few letter stickers finished off the page.
First of all I am linking up to Jo's Hello Springtime challenge at Art Journal Journey.
And then, with all the color on my page, I am also going to link up to Moo Mania and their new theme of Colorful.
Hope everyone is well and wishing you all a happy start to spring.

Happy Spring to you! Here the sun was actually shining for a bit at least and temperatures were pretty mild.

And I don't know why, but I think I was so excited about this painting that I totally forgot to say thank you for joining in at Moo Mania & More as well!
Much appreciated my friend!

It really seems like spring has arrived here. Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day and the temperature hit ten degrees. Last night we went to a local event on reptiles and amphibians and when we drive home it was raining - not snowing! The cruellest thing of all would be another snowfall before next December!

Lovely journal page!

My spouse and I were just discussing how wonderful it is to hang our clothes out to dry, now that temps aren't freezing, and the snow is mostly melted from under our line. :)

It was a nice Vernal Equinox and another nice day shaping up. Your page reminds me of the wash hanging out on the line. A nice memory except for hay fever and pollen all over the clothes. A-choo! Enjoy your day!

It was a warmer day yesterday-a high of 10C but i was indoors all day (work). I love your page with the bright colours in the background and the clothes floating through the wind. Very fun and makes me think of spring cleaning for sure

I love this fantastic Spring Cleaning page you created. Washing drying gently on the line is a positive that the weather is getting better. However its still sweater weather here most days, even if the sun decides to shine.

Happy belated first day of spring, Erika. What a great way to welcome spring. I absolutely adore the clothes lines filled with just washed clothes. This is brilliant, Thanks for sharing it using Jo's theme at Art Journal Journey.

I wanted to comment on your Arch vs Statue of Liberty comment you left yesterday. I see what you are saying about style and contemporary vs vintage. However, what I was getting at was the view and the length of time given to take it in. The view from the arch is much higher than the view from Liberty's crown. You can also take as long as you like to see the views in the arch. You also have a view from the river side and from the city side. The Statue of Liberty has several slat-like windows that you walk past. The ONLY view is out these windows. It faces a portion of Brooklyn and a bridge (NOT the Brooklyn Bridge), but you cannot see Manhattan from the crown.

I am in love with your drawing! Your spring and summer clothes are great and your chosen colors very beautiful!
Our weather is the same - sunny but yet too cold for springtime feelings :)

What a fabulous idea for your page, I wish it would get drier and warmer here so I could hang my washing out.
