Happy Friday everyone. We expect lots of rain here today but warmer temperatures. This week our weather has been more like March and the snow melt is starting. Hurrah! Hurrah!
Now I don't celebrate St Patrick's Day but it is this weekend so my calendar page this week is all about a little green.
I added some green ink to the pre-printed background and stamped a few shamrocks. The centerpiece is a practically ancient transparency I had in my stash, and then I added these 2 little TH ladies. Finally a bit of green metallic paper trim and a couple of shamrock stickers finished off this not so complicated page.
Since St. Patrick's Day is one sign of spring here in my world I am going to link up this page to Art Journal Journey. Jo is the wonderful hostess this month and her theme is Hello Springtime.
Not much else going on here. It's been a busy work week but it is almost the weekend.
Another hurrah for that.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your fabulous St.Patricks Day / Hello Spring page dear Erika! It's simply amazing. All these layers go so perfectly together and the layout is stunning and those ancient images make it really atmosperic!

Great to hear the weather gets more freindly now for you! Here it is still qindy, (stormy) and cold but next week it is going to get really warm they tell us...we will see!

What fabulous colours you have used in your spread. I love the blues and greens together but the addition of the lilac has really brought the page to life.
So topical too - St Patrick's Day - love your shamrocks and those little girls look perfect in their Sunday best frocks.

Gorgeous colours here, Erika - I seem to be stuck in this part of the colour wheel, lol - so full of life. I don't think people really celebrate Paddy's Day here, either (unless they're Irish) - although there are often Ceilidhs around, especially in student towns and cities, where lots of people drink Guinness and get very drunk. There are lots of Irish in Liverpool, so I know there will be a lot of celebrating there. Happy weekend!

I always think it's interesting that in the States St Paddy's is so much bigger than it is here in Scotland, which is so much closer to Ireland with many connections between the two. I had never even heard of it, until I happened to visit an American school for advisory work some years back on St Patrick's day. Some of the kids had to explain to me what it was all about.
Oh and guess what we woke up to this morning? SNOW!! The first real snow we have seen this year, giving all the daffodils white hats... :o(
These colors totally make me smile. We don't do St. Paddy's as far as religion goes but I never pass up a chance to celebrate something so today I will make soda bread and corned beef. No cabbage. And Bob Evans micro-mashed potatoes. I'm a purist on some things, but this one can pass!
Your green page is just wonderful, the lilac colour fits perfect to the green! A beautiful mixed media page with amazing details and so much texture, I like it!
