Hi everyone. Today I have some art to share for a couple of challenges.
First of all, there's a new challenge at Tag Tuesday. This time Sandie is hosting and her theme is Travel. I made a stamped tag using a set of stamps that came with a stamping magazine many years ago.
I also have a page for Matilde's What's Makes You Happy challenge at Art Journal Journey. Two things that make me happy are flowers and color.
I made my colorful background by first gluing down a piece of deli wrap that I had worked on for quite a while. Then I stamped the long flower definition several times along the bottom of the page. I also stamped the large flowers, once for each flower on this page, and then once for each on acetate. After I glued them down, I used some alcohol ink to color the acetate flowers. I finished my page by stamping the never ending loops and also adding some printed quotes.

This is a pretty one. I like the color and texture of the flowers.
We never had a destination when traveling Australia and that was wonderful! Hugs, thank you for thinking back of that!

I am with you on colour and flowers as something that makes you happy - me too. And your piece today really does make me happy.
Love the 'sketchiness' about the flowers, the various shades that make up the one colour of each flower head, the various pieces that make up the background and the never ending loops scattered about the page.
