Hi everyone. Happy Friday once again to you. This past week flew right by as I had a visitor, and I also picked up an extra shift at the lake. Today I finally feel like I can take a big breath and have some me time. 😉
Last week for Nicole's Friday Face Off and Gillena's Friday Lunch Break I shared 2 of the trolls from the Maine Botanical Garden. I hope you enjoyed them because today I am going to share photos of the other 3 trolls.
This imposing troll is named Roskva, and she is the guardian of tree trunks. She greats you as you walk over the bridge and enter most of the gardens.
And she has very cool feet too.
The rest of the trolls are off in a wooded area of the gardens. You need to take a little stroll to get to them. The next troll we came across is the baby, Lilja., troll of the flowers.
I like the multicolored shingles she is made of.
And here's last of the 5 you'd find at these gardens. His name is Birk, and he is troll of the roots.
I'm sure the other trolls have these marks also, but this is the only one we noticed.
I now want to take a trip and visit trolls around the world. Since going around the world isn't going to happen, I'd settle for some in the US. Maybe both of these options would be a good future trip to plan. 😉

Those trolls are wonderful! I scanned the QR code and got a troll map of all the trolls in the park and an announcement of a new book by Thomas Danbo. How interesting. I can imagine you want to visit all the others.

We don't have trolls over here...they look really cool.
A wonderful troll garden. I think these wooden trolls are not scary as many are. You was Lucy seeing them in nature 👍🌞

Great trolls both this week and last week! Your photos show them off in a very imaginative way, though I would also very much like to see them for myself. I hope you do get to see at least a few more, even if you can't go around the world.

these are really great trolls! Very artistic and well done and integrated very appropriately into the landscape. I believe you that you would like to visit trolls everywhere. I've now looked at the map of where to find Thomas Dambo's trolls - that's a lot of places! It must be fun to visit them all.

I think I mentioned that Helen photographed the two that were on loan to Kew Gardens in London a few months ago. Helen is famous for getting up close and personal to plants and also to the trolls. I am glad you shared the final three this week. They are all great and you are SO lucky to have gotten that close to each of them, too. I normally don't like to see other people in my photos, but I enjoyed these because it shows the scale of the trolls.
BTW, you remember the error I kept getting a week or so ago when I tried to leave you a comment? I'm now getting that same error when I visit Jeanie and Traude. SO frustrating.
These trolls look less scary than most of our politicians. Some look downright cuddly! Hugs - David

I LOVE these troll statues. What a fantastic place to get to visit.
These trolls look amazing. I would to meet them too ;-)
Now I want to visit those botalical gardens as well - too bad that Maine is on the other side of the continent. The trunk troll is my favorite - he has something very cuddly. The only troll I remember is the bridge troll under one of Seattle's bridges, and he's quite impressive. Maybe one day you can visit him.
