Hi everyone. Happy Friday.
A couple of weeks ago week we had some beautiful autumn weather compared to yesterday’s chill and wintery weather.
This was yesterday morning. Luckily today it will (or so the weather people say) warm up enough for the snow to melt.
Today's post is not about snow however. One gorgeous morning 2 weeks ago when Miss Maddie was at doggy daycare, Pete and I went for a walk at the Urban Forestry Center in Portsmouth (New Hampshire).
I thought this week I'd share some photos from our stroll for Nicole's Friday Face Off and Gillena's Friday Smiles.
The water you see is Sagamore Creek flowing through the salt marsh.
And here's a few faces I discovered during that walk for Nicole's Friday Face Off.
Pete says it's time to go back to the car for a drink.
And I say time for me to wish you a happy weekend.
One last thing- my daughter is coming today for a start to the weekend visit, so I may not get around to visiting people until later this weekend.

...thanks for the great walk, let's do it again. Have a wonderful weekend with your daughter.
Cute faces you found! -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com
My favourite photo is the Buddha of the Woods!
Oh, boy, that tree!
These hearts etc are not really forever, I can tell. That dude who carved one for us and betrayed me later sure carved for nothing, sorry, tree...
If this is no dog trail and even from (sadly) very far away: Thank you for keeping your "beast" on the leash.
You have probably no idea how often I was close to a heart attack due to dogs running free, no "owner" in sight.
Twice I´ve been in "dangerous" situations, not nice (when they growl, don´t look them in the eye, right? Don´t run, they are faster...)
So, in the name of chicken like me: Thank you!
I love the pic with the lake - great scene and colors!
To Pete and you: Happy weekend, hugs
You had a wonderful walk, Pete looks very happy. Love the fun faces! Have a great day, hugs, Valerie

I'm happy not to look at the snow pictures. The Autumn pictures and the trail are beautiful. Clever way to capture faces, too. Pete looked very happy. Enjoy the weekend visit with your daughter.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos. Erika here in T&T🇹🇹 we are having some rain showers after our heat spell of about 3 months past
Much🖤love
Looks like peaceful place to walk.
Coffee is on
You and Pete had such a beautiful walk - and it looks like he was taking the lead most of the time! You found some great faces - I wonder who out the buddha statue there. Was it in the woods or on private property? I really like the rock face. Have a lovely weekend, Erika, and enjoy your daughter's visit.
What an awesome place for an autumn walk! I especially enjoyed the picture of Pete walking across that leaf-covered bridge.
Gosh..already snowing?? We have been enjoying our autumn walk..love this season of colours!

Have a wonderful mother-daughter time! xox
Now that the snow has moved away, the trees and ground plants look gorgeous. The dog clearly had a wonderful time :)
As soon as I can sit up without pain I will be back. Thank you for joining FFO and have a nice weekend.

A very beautiful place to visit. Definitely my kind of place to take a walk.
That is a fun walk in a place of beauty.
Definitely November in your world. And what a walk. The woods are lovely -- I'm glad you don't have to rake all those leaves though!
Snow!!!
Your Autumn walk looks nice. Such a pretty place.
Love that first photo of the snow but `I don't want it to land here thank you.
Better were the following pictures of your walk through the woods. Love the autumnal colours and you certainly brought them to us via your photos.
Enjoy your time with your daughter.
Hugs, Neet xx
