A Second Look and More

Hi everyone.
It is October second and that means it is
time today for a second look at a previous post over Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog. It is Second on the Second.
Here's my second view from a post originally published on October 16, 2015.
This is a slightly spooky architectural October page.
Now that it is October, I think a little spooky is ok.
And keeping with the autumn theme, I have a collaged journal spread for Eileen's Dream challenge at  Art Journal Journey

I've been doing some paper collaging for the last few weeks in a blank board book. My theme is (obviously) autumn. It is very relaxing and it's fun to pick the right bit to add. Plus it is a good way to clean off my work table too.
Besides collaging, I used a bit of modeling paste and a stencil. Once dried, I used a bit of paint and ink to color them.
And it was easy enough to add some letter stickers to create the quote that finished off my page. And made it perfect for the AJJ challenge too.
And by the way, you might recognize the tag on the bottom left from a post last week.
Hope everyone is having a great week!

Have a happy mid-week!
And thanks for visiting.

Oh how fun. I remember this post, but it surprised me that I knew you in 2015. It doesn't seem that long, so time really HAS flown. Thankfully, our friendship is still intact (grin). Thanks for sharing this second look again. It made me happy the first time and has this time, too.

WOW, you have really been doing lots of collage work. I'm super impressed with all the disparate bits hat came together and work so well with each other. I love the colors, the composition and even the modeling paste. There's lots of texture in this spread, too. Thanks for this first entry this month using Eileen's theme at Art Journal Journey.

While I'm not dreaming of Autumn, I do like your architectural page especially the Not To Scale stamp. Too fun. Halloween is my favorite holiday.Your Autumn pages look quite cozy and lucky you to get some Happy Mail! Your Autumn Dreams are on the way after today's warm temps. Enjoy

Wow - I didn't "know" you in 2015 so I'm thrilled to see that magnificent page - so hauntingly atmospheric and such extraordinary sunset colours. I don't think I'd be hanging around that house for very much longer... once night falls, it probably isn't a good place to be!

And your autumnal page spread is wonderful too... so many images to delight the eye and texture to keep the fingertips happy, and all in such rich fall colours. Amazing!

I am so glad you reposted that spooky piece as I must have missed it the first time. I just adore the images you have used but the colour - oh the colour just captures my heart. It is rich and regal - a wonderful piece.
A gorgeous set of journal pages for Eileen's challenge, with such wonderful pictures and colours that blend perfectly.
Love it.
