Friday Face Off

 Hi everyone. Happy Friday.

Today I have a page for Nicole's Friday Face Off , Gillena's  Friday Art Lunch Break, and also Valerie's Anything Goes at Art Journal Journey.

I hope you were able to say hello to the sun this morning wherever you happen to be in the world.

I inked my page, and then used a stencil and some black acrylic paint.  The sun is a chipboard piece I had in my stash that I painted yellow and then drew in the face. Finally I stamped the quote and added some tiny foam yellow stars.

There's sun at my house this morning, but more snow is coming to New Hampshire  (Friday) tonight and into tomorrow. They say this will be the biggest one all week; we could get a foot (30.5 cm) or even more. What a winter weather week it's been. It's a good thing I've had lots of art projects to work on. Smile.

Have a great start to your weekend, and thanks so much for visiting my blog.

Oh dear, Erika, more snow does not sound good. Here it's very cold and grey, but no snow - yet! Love your journal page with the beautiful sun smiling at us. Thank for linking to my challenge at AJJ, hugs, Valerie

The sun is struggling to peek through here, Erika, and serious snow is forecast for later in the day. Tomorrow we will be heading north so I had better get out tonight and shovel my driveway. I know that you have had lots of practice shovelling recently so I also know you will wish to come and help. You are welcome to stay overnight. Your bed is made, the pillow fluffed - and you get first choice of shovels. Hugs - David

Guess with the weather forecast you are glad you are retired this time around. Brrr.... it sounds as if you are in for some cold times. Hope it does not last too long for you Erika.
Lovely journal page, the blue on the black is striking and then the touch of yellow just lifts it even more. I love the face you drew on the sun.
Hugs, Neet xx

Your sun looks said with the upcoming weather forecast. We're not in for a lot of snow, but mostly sleet. Either way. Ugh! Stay safe and warm

A wonderful page Erika, I love your smiling sun.
There's not a lot of sun forecast here for the next few days, a few wintry showers though. I hope we don't get snow!

We spent a few days in N COnway, NH, this week and had snow there, Erika. There was an unexpected 4-inch snowfall on Thursday. Now, we're back in Nashua and have seen and read all the storm warnings about the snow that's expected to start later tonight and go through most of Saturday. We did some snowshoeing this week and look forward to doing more here at home.

No sun here today! This is a lovely cheerful page for AJJ. The weather forecaster this morning said we are going to have snow next week but he couldn't say how much or for how long!!! Hugs, Chrisx

I've always loved suns... and moons
no sun here today either, snow and cold but a wet snow. Odd for Colorado.
we've been told we will have water restrictions this summer so any precip is welcomed with open hearts!
happy creating my friend

Even in Australia where we don't have snow or hail, we still have grey miserable skies in winter. So the emergence of bright, yellow sunshine warms the heart and raises the mood.

Beautiful - and... Elizabeth gave it kindly away: Happy, happy Birthday, right (Saturday). To a great new year, full of fun, creativity, health and yum.

Sun is a bit shy today, but I saw a guy in shorts (knee-long) and Ingo a dude in a t-shirt. It´s cold!
To Spring soon, hugs

Your sun looks a little sad -- probably because of the snow. Bring it on and melt it all!

The only sunshine I see today is your beautiful art. We are in yet another snow storm. I dislike it more than anyone knows. So thank you for the sunshine and for joining FFO. Have a lovely day today.

I love that sunshine! We're having a sunny day today after a couple of rainy ones, and we're expecting yet more rain later in the week.

My apologies for not visiting sooner. As you read, I was called out of town suddenly to spend time with a dying friend, I just returned this morning. I hope you had a great birthday. I really like your background, but the sun really has me smiling, something that is a bit hard to do today. Really clever and adorable and also a great entry for Valerie's theme at AJJ.
