Random Photos

 Hi everyone.

I am here today with some random recent photos. I'll be linking up this post to Nicole's   Friday Face Off and also to  Gillena's  Friday Lunch Break.

We had had some snow, and it lasted for over a week. Then earlier this week we had rain and now we're back to no snow.  These photos are from last week, when the snow first fell and then was on the ground.

It was cold enough that ice even started to form. We're on a bit of a warm up for the weekend with heavy rain coming Monday, so any ice that's around will most likely be gone within a day now.

Last weekend my husband and I went to Portland, Maine to meet up with some college friends we hadn't seen in a long time. We had a nice evening out with a good meal, a couple of drinks and a fun  hockey game. I had hoped to get some holiday lights photos, but we just got too busy to do that. Here's a few I did get.

And I'll end this post with the 6 of us at the game.

Have a great weekend.

Dear Erika,
These are very nice snow photos! For us, the winter landscape is over for now, too - there won't be a white Christmas again, I think, but I'm already used to that ;-) It's probably better than when there are a lot of accidents at Christmas because of snow.
Your college friends seem like a fun bunch - I'm glad you had fun! I didn't know about the ice cream thing... ;-)
All the best and have a nice Advent season,
Traude

I love that windmilleee one. Really, they're all excellent. That one though, I love the most.

Your road can't be any wider because it's lined with those trees. I am wondering, were they planted especially to line the road or just not cut down, because behind them looks a bit more cleared. Here one day is sunny and the next dreary. We are awash in brown leaves, every other day Honey goes outside and sweeps the walk and front porch and when it rains it's just a huge mess. I'll be so glad when they quit falling. Glad you had a fun night with friends. XOX

I love your photographs, Erica. The fourth one down, of the mossy trees in the forest, really speaks to me. I'm glad that you had fun at a hockey game with your college friends! Love the photo of you all! Hugs to you!

Mature aged people meeting up with old university friends is brilliant. I would have enjoyed seeing how people looked, catching up on their lives, hearing about other old friends, having a few celebratory drinks etc

I wonder if Mr. Big Foot has trouble with frost bite.

Sasquatch looks right at home in the snow! Beer, friends and a hockey game -- life doesn't get much sweeter than that!

They say that Coca Cola has the most universal appeal, but I would think that ice cream might give it a run for its money! Looks like you had a great weekend. All the best - David

Cheers to such a great evening out!
I´m kinda totally stressed these days (but found time for our neighbor).
Hockey is... not "not known", but not popular here. Actually I only know it from The Simpsons!!! Hugs to that, huh?

I had planned to stop by yesterday to thank you for your heartfelt comment on the cow, but I was still too emotional. I found it hard to read, but I appreciate your emotional support. I loved seeing Big Foot in his natural habitat. First time I've seen him in the forest.

As always, I enjoy seeing the snow pictures, but still want it to keep away from us. Big Foot looks great in the woods with the snow around him.
Sounds as if a good time was had by all when you went out, lovely photo of the six of you - nice to see such a happy crowd.
Hugs, Neet xx
